There are welfare concerns for A Jit Khan, 34, the missing driver of a Mitsubishi Triton ute caught in floodwaters near Wagin on Tuesday. 

The abandoned vehicle was found stranded on Ballagin Road in Piesseville around 11:30 am. Mr Khan’s family’s reported he failed to return home all day. 

Police confirmed the safety of the driver of a white Range Rover found close by. Police are still searching for Mr Khan and remain concerned for his welfare. He is described as 170cm tall with tan skin, a slim build, black hair and black eyes. 

Police are urging anyone who has seen him, or who may have given him a lift, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
