Fresh Front Bar Vs Footy Show Ratings From Last Night

Following it's second week back with the return of Eddie McGuire, The Footy Show recorded a solid 299,000 viewers in Melbourne.

It is a drop from the 381,000 that tuned in last week for his comeback episode.

Mick Molloy's The Front Bar on Channel 7 lodged a consistent 164,000 in Melbourne in the same timeslot.

The return of McGuire has provided a massive shot in the arm to the long-running Footy Show - with figures from July showing it struggled most weeks to drag in more than 150,000 viewers.

In the last 4 weeks with Craig Hutchison in the hosting chair, Front Bar beat the Channel 9 program in 3 of the weeks they went head to head.
