Police have seized $20,000 worth of allegedly stolen electronics and baby products from a home in Willow Vale.

Officers from the Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch searched the property on Wednesday as part of investigations into an organised stealing syndicate,

Printers, NutriBullets, baby formula and nappies were found among the haul.

Detectives claimed the valuable items were stolen from shops across the Gold Coast and were being sold over the internet.

A 35-year-old woman was arrested and charged with a string of offences including seven counts of stealing.

She was scheduled to face Southport Magistrates Court on April 24.

Detective Inspector Brendan Smith said the theft from retail shops costs the Queensland community millions of dollars each year.

“Yesterday’s effort clearly illustrates the scale of organised nature of this offending and accordingly, the apprehension of those involved is an ongoing priority of the Queensland Police Service,” he said.
