Former Gold Coast captainĀ Gary Ablett has put his Queensland home on the market - further fuelling rumours of his imminent departure from the club.
Ablett reportedly requested a trade back to Geelong in the trade period, which the Suns quickly snuffed out.
According to RealEstate.com.au: "it is understood he is looking to downsize from his 3342sq m residence but plans to remain on the Coast."
"Records show Ablett bought his Ashmore property in 2011 for $1.8 million, shortly after he joined the Suns."
"A lagoon-style pool, Bali hut, tennis court and pontoon are among its luxury features."
"Inside the four-bedroom house no detail has been spared with Italian marble and African timber flooring throughout."
Ablett's contract would see him with the Suns until the end of 2018 - meaning he couldn't move until Geelong until the age of 35.
