Despite Bushfires all but cutting Geeveston off, the town and community have showed amazing resilience in fighting back and staying positive.

One instance of this amazing sense of community has been demonstrated by Ian from the Geeveston Pharmacy.

Sleeping on the couch at the back of the store, Ian has made his store available for any urgent medical requirements in the community.

Speaking with Marls on Triple M earlier today, Ian revealed he actually lives in Howrah on the Eastern Shore and hasn't seen his family in days.

The Pharmacy remains open for the community, although Ian reckons it's probably not a great time to come pick out a new lipstick and to travel only when necessary.

Marls was right in saying "what a deadset legend"
