Aussie swimming legend Geoff Huegill has told Perth's Rush Hour with Embers and Michelle that his stint on SAS Australia was one of the hardest things he's ever done.

But he also revealed that he had a plan on how to deal with it.

"The way I approached it, you knew you were going to get flogged, you just didn't know where the flogging was coming from and how long the flogging would last,

"Over the space of two weeks, I lost 10 kilos. We ate well, but it was legit. Three meals a day, portion control, the only thing you could drink was water,

"It doesn't stop, there was no 'can we shoot that again.'"
