If you think drinking beer for hours on end sounds good to you, then Stone & Wood's Backyard Invitational next weekend is the place to be.

Hosted at the Surfstitch Warehouse in Burleigh Waters, 22 independent breweries will be providing delicious beer along with live music and food being on offer throughout the event to raise money for charity. There's no better reason to drink beer all day!

If for some reason you can't drink beer for hours on end, two Northern Rivers distilleries will be on hand with local kombucha on the day.

If making your own craft beer interests you, then make sure you check out the masterclasses on offer hosted by beer writer and podcaster, Luke Robertson. He will be joined by speakers from visiting distilleries to show you how to use native ingredients to make the perfect brewskie.

Spread across two sessions, $60 tickets will include entry to the festival, a wide range of beers, access to talks and masterclasses, a take-home beer cup and a $5 food voucher for any of the food trucks on offer.

Orange Sky, a charity that helps homeless people get back on their feet, has been chosen to receive profits from the event. So make sure you go on down to support a great cause and drink loads of beer!
