Get Your Townsville Pets Microchipped For Free This Weekend

The best way to ensure that you are reunited with your pooch or kitty when they go out and about, is to microchip them. 

If your pet is found and taken to a Vet, they will scan your pet and the microchip details will show your info. 

Townsville City Council have offered several free microchipping days, and there's another one on the calendar this weekend. 

From 8am-11am get down to Cambridge Park in Vincent with your pet to have them microchipped free of charge. 

If you're taking down a cat, make sure they are in a kitty cage, and for dogs make sure they are on a leash. 

Just in case you didn't know- kittens and puppies must be at least 8 weeks old to be microchipped.

If your pet is unregistered with council, on the spot registrations will be available for a fee.
