Gold Coast the luckiest in state for Lotto winners

Gold Coasters have proven themselves to be the luckiest Queenslanders when it comes to winning Lotto.

During the past 12 months, the city has had the most division one winners in the state with 13, adding up to $9,041,353.26.

The luckiest postcodes included 4217 around Surfers Paradise, as well as 4127 at Springwood in Logan.

They each had four winners in 2017.

But Far North Queensland had the most total winnings with $64,381,194.94.
