It’s the number one Karratha locals have been asking for: affordable housing.
With rising rents and an increasing shortage of housing, the City of Karratha decided to step in and help.
Mayor Peter Long joined Pablo to update listeners on over fifty houses that have been made available for not-for-profits and low-income households in Karratha.

Karratha has been struggling with a housing crisis for some time - with low levels of housing stocks and increasing rents. In Karratha rents rose 16.7 per cent from December 2019 to December 2020.
