Graham Annesley Responds To Wayne Bennett’s Referee Criticism

Wayne Bennett took a shot at the NRL referees following the Rabbitohs win over the Bulldogs calling for the game’s whistleblowers to revert back to their 2018 methods.
"I've never been in an era of the game when the players are less compliant, they stretch everything they possibly can on the field,” Bennett said during the post-match press conference.
"That puts more pressure on the referees. It's not a criticism, it's just a fact. Today was the worst I've seen."
NRL’s Head of Football Graham Annesley joined Triple M Saturday footy and resounded to Bennett’s criticisms.
