Grand Central Cinema Remains Closed Due To Recent Wild Weather

It's not secret events and entertainment industry continues to be impacted by both public health orders and damaging Queensland weather.
The latter has forced the renowned Grand Central Cinema into an extended period of closure.
The popular Toowoomba cinema spot has taken a major hit from recent storms a few weeks ago. Ian Mills from Event Cinemas joined Lee to map out their return.
"It was pretty wild, we lost quite a number of cinemas. The guttering couldn't hold up with the ice and the hail. The damage was much more significant than we ever thought," the Event Cinemas General Manager said.
Mills shared where locals can still enjoy the latest box office hits around Toowoomba, as Grand Central Cinema eyes off a return in June.
