Despite being ruled out for Game III of State of Origin after a recording a positive RAT, Cameron Munster was allowed out of ‘isolation’ to watch the decider. Players are being tested every morning and the consequence for a failed result means seven days on the sidelines, yet wider society doesn’t test and are free to do as they please. There is simply no consistency.

The 2022 season has had a cloud hanging over its head and NRL insider Ben Dobbin this morning told listeners on Triple M Breakfast with Marto and Margaux that the 2022 Grand Final, scheduled for the first weekend of October ‘could be postponed’ should the game being compromised by multiple positive player tests

The testing is especially pertinent to the two Queensland sides fighting it out for a potential grand final berth, Dobbin positing that ‘one’ of the sides will be feature in the big dance.
