Greater Shepparton Welcomes Culture Corner!

In the spirit of multiculturalism, Greater Shepparton's Maude Street Mall has adopted a new monthly event!

Thanks to the Greater Shepparton City Council, this Saturday April 6th, the Malaysian community will be hosting a traditional mock wedding and the whole community is invited!

On the first Saturday of every month, community members will throw on their best traditional dress and will be showcasing their culture through dance, food, art and music between 10am and 2pm.

Affectionately named Culture Corner, Maude Street Mall will be absolutely buzzing with cultural diversity.

With over 14 percent of Greater Shepparton residents having been born outside of Australia, Greater Shepparton City Council wanted to underline the importance of diversity and multicultural appreciation.

So don't be shy, if you're keen to learn a thing or two this weekend or are just a little bit curious about Married At First Sight Malaysian style, head on down to Maude Street Maul this Saturday!
