Far from the snotty punk trio that first graced Australian shores in 1996, Green Day brought their Revolution Radio World tour to a sold-out night 1 at Qudos Bank Arena in a BIG way!

An elaborate stage show with nothing short of a 6 person band, pyrotechnics, water cannons, being reminded every 2 seconds where you are “Syyyyyydney, Australiaaaaaaa!” and an amazing light show with the intensity of 1000 burning suns, Green Day ripped through an energetic 2-hour hit heavy set focusing on tracks from American Idiot through to 2016’s Revolution Radio.

When frontman Billie Joe Armstrong asked “How many old school Green Day fans in here?” your mum and dad knew you were about to get served some bangers, and served you did.

“Burnout”, “She”, Longview”, When I Come Around”, “Basket Case”, all from Dookie which put Green Day on the map, and also reminded you why Green Day continue to be one of the biggest and best rock bands in the world.
