Grim Discovery Of Missing Woman's Body Found Inside A Box

A homicide investigation has been launched after the grim discovery of a woman's body inside a storage box at a waterside apartment complex in Hamilton.

Police were called to the Parkside Circuit multi-residential block just before 4pm on Monday where they made the gruesome discovery.

The woman’s body was unearthed in a storage box at the riverside unit of the Newport Hamilton Apartments block.

Forensic officers have been canvasing the building and CCVT footage since the missing woman’s body was revealed.

A 26-year-old man currently in New South Wales is assisting detectives with enquiries.

The man will front Sutherland Local Court on Tuesday where detectives aim to extradite him to Queensland.
