Now that Guns N' Roses have wrapped up their Not In This Lifetime world tour, the band have reported they will be releasing a brand new album.

The bands' guitarist Richard Fortus confirmed the news this week and we asked our local Gunners expert- Triple M's Becko what he thinks of the news:

According to Ultimate Classic Rock, Fortus said fans can expect the record "faster than you think".

This will be the follow up to 2008's fan dividing release Chinese Democracy.

The studio lineup is reported to be the Not In This Lifetime band consisting of: Axl Rose, Slash, Duff, Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer and Melissa Reese.

Could we expect appearances from some of their live show cameos Sebastian Bach, Angus Young, Angry Anderson, Pink, Billy Gibbson and Dave Grohl?

Original drummer Steven Adler told Triple M he's very keen to join the band after making an on-stage appearance.

It's looking to be a huge 2019 for Axl Rose, who was spotted recording with AC/DC in Vancouver just months ago.
