Has Anyone Actually Met And Pat The Real Red Dog?

Pablo was challenged on WA's Biggest Scab to find out if anyone had met the real life Red Dog and patted him.

As it turned out, there are quite a few people who have encountered the much loved Australian dog, but many of the stories depict a very different Red Dog from that in the 2011 movie. 

"He'd be sitting there chilling out, or he'd be hangin' around for something to eat. He had quite a bit of an agenda you know," listener Donna said. 

Did anyone actually manage to pat Red Dog though?
