HBO, the production company behind Game of Thrones have asked Donald Trump to stop using GoT themed images.

President Trump has often used Game of Thrones style imagery to promote his president, the most recent case on April 18 when he posted an image on his Twitter page (of course) with the words 'Game Over' - in relation to a report that found he had no collusion with Russia over his election win.

Unfortunately for the Donald, HBO own GoT's intellectual property, and after voicing their irritation last year at him using GoT imagery, they have now publicly asked the President of the United States to cease using it's IP for "political purposes".

"Though we can understand the enthusiasm for Game of Thrones now that the final season has arrived, we still prefer our intellectual property not be used for political purposes," a HBO press release said.

Trump usually blazes his own trail, so it will be very interesting to see if he heads this warning from HBO...
