Isolation can be an absolute drag but if done right, it could be the perfect opportunity to take some real "me" time and catch-up on some your favourite film franchises. 

Whether you've been meaning to sit down and watch them or haven't seen them for many, many years, we have gone ahead and provided you with a list of ten classic film franchises that are guaranteed to help you pass the time. 

Number ONE... drum roll please! 

1. The Matrix 

If the virus outbreak has you the mood for a dystopian themed movie, The Matrix movies will definitely fulfil that craving. Not only are they the perfect theme for those feeling a little dark, they are ALL available on Stan & Netflix!

2. Lord Of The Rings

There are three of these legendary movies to watch and they will most DEFINITELY help you kill some time. Catch Frodo, Sam, Gandolf and the rest of the crew on the longest adventure of all time. 3. The Bourne Movies

6. Mission Impossible 

Catch Tom in one of his arguably BEST roles as Ethan Hunt, super-spy action hero, who travels the world on... well... impossible missions to save the world from complete destruction and really angry bad guys. You can catch four of the movies on Stan, Foxtel Go or Google Play. 

7. Die Hard 

This one is a timeless classic, complete with eighties style, big hair and a young Bruce Willis. The story follows Detective John McClane as he takes on a group of terrorists, lead by Hans Gruber, who have taken hostages, including his wife inside the Nakatomi Plaza.

Yes, it's as action-packed as it sounds and feature heaps gun play and plenty of old explosions. There are five of these movies, so if you're willing to purchase them on Google Play, they'll help you to kill some serious time in isolation!

8. The Terminator 

Before Arnie was the Governor of California, he was THE TERMINATOR. In the epic film series directed by James Cameron, Arnie plays a terrifying cyborg from the future, sent back in time to kill Sarah Connor before her son wages a war that kills millions of people in the future. This glorious franchise has not five but SIX movies for you to watch, dating back to the late eighties, all the way through to 2019. 

You'll find the first instalment on Stan, while the other five movies you'll need to find on Foxtel Go or Google Play! 

9. Indiana Jones 

We couldn't leave out our whip wielding, Fedora wearing archeologist now could we? Watch as Dr Henry Walton "Indiana" Jones, races a group of evil villains to a religious relic to prevent them from taking over the world. Guys, this is your classic, adventure style action movie and ladies... Harrison Ford in his prime... need I say more? You can find all four Indiana Jones movies on Stan & Netflix. 

10. Mad Max

We left the best till last with the unforgettable Mad Max series! If you're looking for a post-apocalyptic style movie, this is it! There are four films to get through with the first few starring Mel Gibson & the last one featuring the one and only king of adaption, Tom Hardy. These ones are a little harder to find but are well worth the search! You'll find the original Mad Max & Mad Max Fury Road on Stan, while the other two can be purchased on Google Play!
