Queensland has copped a huge amount of rain over the weekend, resulting in flash flooding, closed off roads and damaged homes throughout the state.

While most of us are keeping dry indoors, QFES workers are out in the thick of it, saving lives and keeping Queenslanders out of harm’s way. 

Regional Manager at QFRS, Wayne Waltisbuhl joined Lee on the show this morning to chat about the carnage caused by the extreme weather.

Wayne shares some insight into what they have been dealing with over the weekend, reveals the helpful mantra they are reiterating to drivers to keep them safe and why we should be staying off the roads whenever possible.
