Here's How You Can Support Domestic And Family Violence Prevention Month
Wear your best purple!
This morning on the show, Banksy & Pinky were joined by Louise Hayes, who is in DV Support for Legal Aid Queensland, who spoke about how you can support Domestic And Family Violence Prevention Month.
Purple is the colour of the campaign, so make sure you wear purple and businesses can create some great purple goodies to get on board!
Louise refreshed us on the services available if we ever find ourselves in a domestic and family violence situation:
- First of all, if it's an emergency situation, dial 000
- Call DV Connect hotline - 1800 811 811
- Local services - Relationships Australia
- Legal Aid website & hotlines
Louise also provided us some information on how Central Queensland are going with domestic and family violence situations during this time. For more information, head to the CQ Domestic & Family Violence Information Facebook page.
NOT NOW, NOT EVER. TOGETHER
