Here's How the Roads Are Looking for the Week Ahead

There's nothing more frustrating that getting caught out by unexpected road delays - they doesn't need to be the case, Toowoomba Regional Council has you covered and will get you there on time with a list of this weeks roadworks and road closures.

And they look this:

Traffic disruptions may occur at the following locations:

CENTRAL DISTRICT:

Griffiths Street, HARLAXTON - roadworks. Mort St – New England Hwy is CLOSED to eastbound traffic until December 2018. Access to businesses will be maintained during operating hours. Signage / traffic management measures will be in place as required. Read more about this project here.

North Street, HARLAXTON - Stormwater maintenance works on Friday 28th December. Signage/traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Olsen Road, WEST PRAIRIE - Road maintenance works. Signage/traffic management measures will be in place as required.

McKeever Road, NANGWEE - Road maintenance works. Signage/traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Watson Road, TIPTON and NANGWEE areas - Road maintenance works. Signage/traffic management measures will be in place as required.

McPherson Road, NANGWEE - Road maintenance works. Signage/traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Smith Road, NORWIN - Road maintenance works. Signage/traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Lack Road, WEST PRAIRIE - Road maintenance works. Signage/traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Power Road, WEST PRAIRIE - Road maintenance works. Signage/traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Jeffries Road, WEST PRAIRIE and TIPTON areas - Road maintenance works. Signage/traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Tipton Horaine Road, TIPTON - Road maintenance works. Signage/traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Westpraire Road, WEST PRAIRIE and JONDARYAN areas - Road maintenance works. Signage/traffic management measures will be in place as required.

SOUTHERN DISTRICT:

Tummaville Road (North Branch Bridge), TUMMAVILLE/KINCORA AREA: The North Branch Bridge on Tummaville Road has been closed until further notice, due to the identification of structural issues during a post-incident inspection. A sidetrack for local traffic is in place (for dry weather only) and all other traffic is advised to seek an alternative route.

Mally Road, HODGSONVALE: The Mally Road culvert will be closed from 2 October for approximately 6 months, weather permitting. Access to properties on the western end of Mally Road, including Bradley Court, will be maintained via the New England Highway. Access to properties on the eastern side of Mally Road, including Bunya Pine Drive, Windermere Drive and Carrol Road, will be maintained via a detour along Bunya Pine Drive. Budgee Road, BUDGEE: Issues have been identified with the culvert near the intersection of Budgee Road and Steele Rudd Road. Lane width and speed reduction is in place as required.

NORTHERN DISTRICT:

Anduramba Range Road, ANDURAMBA: Closed.

Pierces Creek Road, EMU CREEK - Road upgrade works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Various Location, MACLAGAN area - Maintenance grading works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Various Locations, JONDARYAN and WOODLEIGH area - Maintenance grading works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place as required.
