Woolworths have released the first images of their Disney collectable campaign, set to being this Wednesday.

Kids around the country will soon be attempting to collect all 36 tiles that features some of the most recognisable characters from Toy Story, Moana, Cars, Aladdin, Mickey Mouse & Friends among many more.

The tiles can also be used for a number of wordplay games, with each tile featuring a symbol or number on the back.

"We set out to create a program with a difference that will not only capture the imagination of kids and families but can also make learning and literacy fun," Woolworths Supermarkets managing director Claire Peters told Yahoo.

"With this in mind, we are really excited to be able to work with Disney again to launch our very own ‘Disney Words by Woolworths’."

According to the supermarket giant, they have gone for a more eco-friendly version of the collectable campaign which is a direct rival to the very success Coles Little Shop from last year.

The Disney tiles are made of tin-plated steel and come in a paper wrapper.

Both are recyclable through council kerbside collections, according to Woolworths.

Similar to Coles, for every $30 a customer spends, they will receive one tile.

The promotion begins in-store Wednesday February 27.
