Highest Level of Sign-Off Required to reunite Bennett and Walters at Brisbane

Speculation that Wayne Bennett could make a return to Red Hill when his contract at South Sydney expires at years’ end is rife however it would take the very highest level of clearance.

Bennett has told South Sydney powerbrokers that he intends to return to Queensland in November despite the club’s intentions to keep him at Redfern.

This morning on The Big Breakfast NRL insider Dobbo told listener that reuniting Bennett with Kevin Walters would require a decision to be made at the very top of the tree.
