How Much Will the Toll Fee Be For the Second Range Crossing?

The Queensland government is under pressure to release the amount the toll fee will be for the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing.

The crossing is set to be open by the end of next year and local businesses are calling for an amount for the toll to be named.

There have been reports that prices for the toll could range anywhere between $25-$40 dollars for a one-way trip.

Toowoomba North MP Trevor Watts says he doesn’t understand why this cost of the toll is such a secret:

“I don’t understand why Labor is addicted to hiding things from people.  People who run businesses, heavy goods vehicles, they all deserve some certainty, they deserved to understand what the toll is going to be as we approach a year away from the completion date of this project.

They need to know the price so they can start factoring it into their costs.”
