 With fires burning all over Australia, a lot of Aussies are wanting to get involved with fighting the bushfires and help wherever they can. Fire and Rescue NSW Station 459 Terrigal are now recruiting On-Call Retained Firefighters.

If you, or someone you know may be interested in a position with FRNSW, please join us on Tuesday 28th January at 7 pm (1900 hrs) at Terrigal Fire & Rescue Station, for an information session.

To be eligible for consideration you will need to meet the following minimum criteria:

* Must have DAYTIME availability

* Be able to meet the required incident and training session percentage attendance requirements.

* Must reside in close proximity to Terrigal Fire Station.

* Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or an Australian permanent resident.

* Be in good health and have a reasonable level of fitness to undertake a pre-employment medical and fitness assessment.

* Hold a current drivers licence (Not L plates).

* Meet the requirements of a National Police criminal history check.

If you are a shift worker, in part time employment, or a parent with children at school, we would be keen to talk to you.
