As November 1 looms this morning's official announcement of Wayne Bennett’s appointment as inaugural coach of the Dolphins has triggered an avalanche of interest from off-contract players to play under the storied mentor.
Speaking on The Rush Hour Queenslander with Dobbo Titans veteran prop Jarrod Wallace let his intentions be known that a reunification with former coach Bennett would be a very real possibility.
"Who wouldn't want to be a foundation player at a new team and playing again under Wayne (Bennett)" Wallace told Dobbo.
"I'd love to go and play under him again"

Wallace, 30, is off contract at the end of 2022 and played under Bennett between 2015 and 2016 at the Broncos. Wallace credits Bennett with helping rediscover his love of the game. However Wallace admits that he'd love to be able to finish his career on the Gold Coast but the door is ajar.
