While many may be shocked at the Rabbitohs upset win over Penrith on Saturday night, dig a little deeper and you’ll notice all the hallmarks of another meticulously calculated Wayne Bennett masterclass.

Speaking on The Big Breakfast with Marto & Margaux NRL insider Dobbo told listeners how the ‘supercoach’, who is in his final season at South Sydney, managed to draw the referees’ eye to the Panther’s blocking.

“We have an obligation as a coach to ask the referees…I just made them aware of it” Bennett told Dobbo.

“I’ve rung ‘em twice this year, and one of them was about Penrith’s blocking”
