The knives have been out for Kevin Walters following the Broncos terrible start to the season that has seen the club return to last position on the NRL ladder.

However, after being forced to shut down rumours of a player revolt at Red Hill, there was no doubt that there was a small faction of players that dragged Kevin Walters in article written by the Courier Mail’s Peter Badel. The players remained unnamed in the article, but they are known to Gorden Tallis and former club great has put them on notice.

Speaking on The Rush Hour Queenslander with Dobbo, Tallis fired an extraordinary warning at the players in question, threatening to railroad the careers for the “gutless” players.

“If they keep on going I’ll out them like I did Robbie Farrah.” he told listeners referencing an incident between the pair in 2014.

“I’ll get personal with them, so they don’t get another club (contract) because that’s wrong”

“You’re going to get more respect in life if you stab someone in the chest, not the back”
