I’m not crying, YOU’RE crying! | Miracle Dog Recovering Well After Surviving Logan House Fire

Here’s one to lift your spirits. After a blaze gutted their Loganholme house on Saturday, Lee Ellison and her two sons had very little hope ever seeing their beloved black Kelpie cross, Henrietta, ever again.

Hence why firefighters were amazed to discover Henrietta hiding within the wreckage of the two-story home inside the couch.

“She’d got herself down underneath the cushions of the couch and that’s where she was the whole time” Ellison told The Big Breakfast with Marto, Robin and Nick Cody this morning.

Henrietta is doing remarkably well on the road to recovery after suffering extreme smoke inhalation and is already making an incredible recovery. Ellison and her two sons were not at home at the time of the fire.
