If you don't walk your dog on a lead in the Northern Beaches... this one is for you.

Division 9 Councillor Brett Olds has warned a dog blitz will begin in the Northern Beaches. 

It follows a number of complaints by residents about people not walking their dogs and the number of wallaby deaths due to residential dogs. 

Newsreader Abbey caught up with Brett to talk about why council officers will be in the Beaches, and what a responsible pet owner should be making sure they're doing:
