In Other Horrific News, Crocs Have Launched A Collaboration With KFC

We've had some pretty astonishing food-related news already this year.

There was the lamington burger - using lamingtons in place of burger buns - and the meat pie burger, which used the same technique but with, you've guessed it, meat pies in place of a bun.

We're not even going to describe the fairy bread burger because we still haven't recovered. Please stop! Brioche buns push the boundaries enough!

And now, as one final kick in the teeth Crocs, the increasingly divisive rubber shoe, has teamed up with KFC to launch fried chicken shoes.

We could almost - almost - forgive the Croc itself; no, the printed design of piles of fried chicken isn't really to our taste, but we respect the drip.

(If your kids have Tik Tok, ask them what "respect the drip" means.)

But the real story here is the charms being offered in addition to the shoe: Two Jibbitz charms that look like, AND SMELL LIKE, fried chicken.

They're not even pretending to be serious anymore. This is our generation's Emperor's New Clothes.
