Several businesses have been destroyed in an early morning fire at an industrial estate in Molendiner.
The blaze tore through the building on Industrial Avenue around 3am, with multiple fire crews racing to the scene.
They had the blaze under control before 6am but around half of the 15 units at the complex were gutted.
Police are not currently treating the fire as suspicious, believing a young family living out the back of the factory might have accidentally started it.
A man, woman and young child were treated for smoke inhalation.
It was believed the damage from the blaze will be in the hundreds of thousands, with several cars nearby also destroyed by the flames.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Service issued a notice at 5:50, urging motorists in the area to take extra care on the roads due to the smoke hazard.
