Kevin Thompson and Robert Sandow are seeking information on the WW2 munitions factory that was located in the MG Woolen Mills.
So far, they have found documents issued by the Director of Manpower ordering a local man to report there as of 16/10/1944.
They have have a certificate from Manpower granting permission to terminate his employ due to lack of orders (munitions)
They have a his certificate of service 18/08/1943 till 23/10/1944 being retrenched.
Any family factual information would be appreciated.
The other closest munitions factory to MG was at Murray Bridge, there being a total of 8 munition facories in SA.
