Would you love to zipline from Adelaide Ovla across the River Torrens?

That is one idea mooted by Adelaide Oval's Stadium Management Authority (SMA) to generate more activity around the world class stadium that lies on the bank of the River Torrens.

The idea emerged during a meeting around the State government's plan to loan the SMA $42 million to build an onsite hotel at Adelaide Oval.

Speaking this morning on Triple M Adelaide, Roo and Ditts thought the idea was a brilliant one, and it would attract even more people to the city and the Adelaide Oval precinct.

"How fantastic (would it be)," Ditts said.

"Kids on a Sunday saying, 'Mum, Dad let's go to Elder Park I want to get on this flying fox'.

"Is that not bringing people into the City who are going to use carparks, eat somewhere, drink somewhere, spend money.

"It's not taking people away from the City from where I sit. I think it's brining people into the City."
