The RACQ CQ Rescue's having their annual appeal and they need help from their fellow Australians to keep the rescue chopper up and running.
Over the past 22 years, dedicated teams of people have continuously put their lives on the line to save others and have so far managed to clock up over 8000 rescues since they started their mission.
But in order to keep the rescue chopper in the air, it costs around $7000 per hour to run.
Jay and Dave spoke with Leigh Wilkinson from RACQ CQ rescue about what exactly goes into keeping Australia safe...
