Big-bodied midfielders look set to dominate the early stages of the mid-season draft on Wednesday, according to Triple M's Jay Clark.

Jay-Z joined JB and Billy on Triple M's Rush Hour and gave us a sneak peek of what to expect next week, with West Coast and North Melbourne in particular holding the early choices.

"There are some nice talents out there," he began.

With Jay-Z expecting "15-ish" picks to be taken over the night across all clubs, it prompted Billy to ask about another man in form: Casey Voss, the son of Michael, who has starred off half back in the SANFL this year.

"He is polarising," Jay-Z said.

"He's a very smart player, he sees the game (really well). The coaches love the way he picks out targets.

"The question is the upside and can he compete with the speed of the game? Talking to some recruiters today they think he's probably a very good state league player. I'd love to see him get a crack."
