As Billy Brownless praised Tom Lynch for playing his role in Richmond's forward line, James Brayshaw cracked a joke about how Billy did the same alongside Gary Ablett for Geelong in the 1990s.
Turns out some jokes have an element of truth to them.
So as Billy tried changing the topic from a bit of Decoys Brownless, JB realised he'd tapped into something.
"Hang on a minute. I'm just gonna deep dive for one second into that role," he started.
"So the ball's coming into the Geelong forward line and your role was to get as far away from it as possible?"
