Joey and Jay On Carlton's Lack Of Defensive Structure

Joey and Jay outlined the glaring defensive problem with Carlton's play, and what needs to change to become a challenger.

Jay said it's "D-Day" for the Blues, who come up against an undermanned Eagles side on Sunday.

"What are you seeing down the backend, why is Carlton still defensively a brittle operation?" Clark asked Montagna.

"Think about the Sydney Swans, they play one on one but they were all defensive minded." said Joey.

"I'm not sure some of the Carlton defenders' natural instinct is to be defensive. Their natural instinct is to get the ball ... they are talented and they've got good offence, but that's why they get scored against so easily."
