What a writer!

In what might be quite the revelation for any self respecting music fan, it turns out that John Fogerty, bloody Mr Mississipi River himself, has revealed that he hadn't visited a few of the places that inspired some of the great CCR songs of our day before he had written them.

Check this out:

For any Creedance fan who's been lucky enough to visit some of these places in the USA, you almost hear Creedance playing in your head when you visit them, they're that powerful. It's mind-boggling to think that Fogerty wrote these tracks without physically going to these locations.

It must be quite the time for reflection from Fogerty, who also revealed that he wrote Who'll Stop The Rain after the famous Woodstock concert of 1969. Of course, the 2019 rendition of said festival was cancelled yesterday, meaning Fogerty's post below is null and void.

Fogerty is currently touring around the USA, with plans to go to Europe later in the year. No ideas on whether he's coming to Oz anytime soon but if he does, we'll be right on it!
