Richmond forward Josh Caddy has apologised for comments made towards Daniel Howe and James Frawley on Thursday night.
The Tigers star gave both players a spray during the qualifying final, using the word "spastic" twice to both Frawley and Howe, as well as some other choice words when Howe received a free kick.
Caddy said the comments "over-stepped the mark".
"I'd like to apologise for the way I acted during last Thursday night's game," he wrote on Instagram.
"I apologise to both James and Daniel for the remark I made and am deeply remorseful to have offended people in the community.
"The insensitive comments were made in the heat of the moment but that is no excuse and I accept that the language over-stepped the mark, was a terrible look, and is totally unacceptable. For that, I am truly sorry."
All the fallout from week one of the finals! Damian Barrett joined JB and Billy for Damo's Recovery Session, thanks to Coates Hire.
