Last month we reported the Melbourne born singer, Nic Cester announced solo on the Blues Fest line up, without his band Jet and this morning new shows have been announced.

The singer just wrapped up an Australia tour fronting the newly reunited band Jet, touring with Bruce Springsteen And The E-Street Band.

The Aussie band, who smashed charts across the world wowed fans with their energetic return and we have no doubt Nic’s solo venture will replicate that same energy.

He will be playing two shows in Sydney and Melbourne, before hitting up the Blues Fest, in Byron Bay.

On the new venture Nic says; “It feels like the right thing to do with these songs,” says Cester. “Normally you would release music then go and play the songs live, but I like the idea of returning to the source, the live show, to let people who are interested come and hear the songs played with all the energy and human connection that make them come alive. I really want to do things differently to how I’ve done them before and challenge myself and the band, and this feels like a really exciting way to do it.”

Fri 21 Apr
