Keith Richards Has (Almost) Given Up Drinking

Legendary Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards says he has (almost) given up drinking.

Richards told Rolling Stone that “it’s been about a year now” since he drank hard liquor — but he still occasionally has a beer or glass of wine.

“I pulled the plug on it.” he said.

“I got fed up with it… It was time to quit.

“Just like all the other stuff.”

Richards has had famous battles with drugs in his past, including an arrest for heroin possession in Canada in 1977.

The Stones are launching their next American tour in April next year.
