Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley says we can expect "significant change" to the Port Adelaide side we saw last season.

The Power stated earlier this week that they'll play four debutantes in Round 1 against Melbourne, with Connor Rozee, Willem Drew, Xavier Duursma and Zak Butters all set to pull on the jumper for the first time.

And speaking to Roo and Ditts on Triple M Adelaide this morning, Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley said to expect a significant change from the side that lined-up for the Power in Round 23 last season, to the one that will line-up against Melbourne on Saturday.

"We're pretty comfortable with who we're going to pick," Hinkley said.

"Obviously we're going to be bringing in four debutants, and two boys who will be playing for Port Adelaide for the first time in an AFL game."

The two boys Hinkley was referring to are former-West Coast Eagle's premiership ruckman Scott Lycett and Hawthorn recruit Ryan Burton.
