The self proclaimed best band in rock KISS have announced their farewell tour for a second time.

The aptly named End of The Road Tour was announced minutes ago on America’s Got Talent with the band performing their 1976 hit Detroit Rock City.

In the announcement KISS said;
”All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who've filled clubs, arenas and stadiums over those years. This will be the ultimate celebration for those who've seen us and a last chance for those who haven't. KISS Army, we're saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we'll go out the same way we came in... Unapologetic and Unstoppable”.

This is the second time the band have retired, their first farewell world tour was in 2000.

The line up and tour details are yet to be announced, but we’re expecting to see Ace Frehley reunited with the band for the send off after he toured with Gene Simmons around Australia last month.

Let's go back to when Ugly Phil caught up with Gene Simmons earlier this year on reuniting with Ace:

Can’t say we didn’t see this one coming.
