Gene Simmons spoke to Triple M Breakfast with Flan, Ali & Spida on the Gold Coast this morning ahead of KISS coming to the Gold Coast on tour. Spida is so excited as last time he saw KISS perform he had to fly all the way over to America.

Gene told Spida that in 1980 when they came to Australia to tour 1 in 14 Australian’s brought their record or came to the concerts.

He said, “the police didn’t know what to do, because they were outnumbered by the number of people that went to the stadiums, they called in the army to provide security”. When they wanted to go out in public they put “Ned Kelly” metal masks on them to hide them from fans, they had never heard of Ned Kelly.

Spida ask’s which song does he love playing the most and Gene answers he was never too fond of “I was made for loving you”.
