Kochie Says "There Is A Very Real Risk" That AFL Clubs Could Collapse

"There is a risk. And it's a very real risk" David Koch told Bernie and Jars this afternoon when they asked him if there was a chance the Coronavirus situation may lead to the demise of one or more football clubs.

The lack of football, combined with the potential withdrawal of support from commercial partners is leaving the competition and especially clubs with weaker finances, vulnerable. 

However, Kochie was determined and resolute that this wouldn't happen, speaking about the "laser focus" of the AFL in working to ensure clubs won't go to the wall. 

He also had a warm message of thanks and optimism for Port fans.
