KOFM To Become Triple M Newcastle

We're getting a new name!

KOFM is being rebranded Triple M Newcastle, joining one of Australia's most iconic radio brands.

But other than a new name and logo, nothing else is changing.

Powerhouse breakfast team Tanya and Steve will still be waking up Newcastle, and there'll be no change to KOFM's existing on-air line up - including the Newcastle Knights call team.

The music's not changing either. Newcastle's 102.9 Triple M will continue to play the same songs our listeners know and love; the music that makes you feel good!

And we'll keep providing comprehensive local news on-air and online.

So why are we changing names?

This will allow for one unified brand which is synonymous across Australia, bringing our listeners closer to the nation's biggest radio brand. It'll give listeners greater access to promotions, prizes and live events like Triple M's famous Garage Session.

Triple M Newcastle will launch on November 9.

Our sister station 4TO in Townsville is also being rebranded to Triple M.
