Kotoni Staggs Recommits but Coates Set to Sign with Storm

A hectic afternoon at Red Hill will leave Broncos fans equally parts elated and devastated after star. After months of speculation Kotoni Staggs has recommitted to the club on a four year, $700,000 per season deal. However, it has been revealed that another part of the club’s rebuild appears to be on his way out with the winger Xavier Coates expected to sign with the Melbourne Storm.

The Broncos had been fending off offers from numerous rival clubs to secure the injured Staggs services but after the recent departures of former housemates Andrew McCullough and Tom Dearden, keeping Coates at Red Hill has proved a step too far.
